A Silicon Valley veteran since the 1970s, Richard started his career at HP then Intel at the advent of the microprocessor. He then joined Regis McKenna, the marketing firm, launching Apple Computer and Visicalc. Afterwards he co-founded Electronic Arts, the video game company. He has been supporting international corporations alongside Hiroshi Menjo since the 1990s as they contemplated the internet, resulting in the formation of NSV Wolf Capital in the 2010s.

Hiroshi started his career as a materials engineer for photographic film at Konica. While studying at MIT he quickly understood the impact that digital technologies would have on the traditional photography industry. He then joined Boston Consulting Group assisting American, European, and Japanese companies on their strategies. He later joined Regis McKenna to start their Japanese practice, meeting Richard Melmon there. The two eventually evolved their combined efforts into NSV Wolf Capital.

Masami began his career at Sony working on their consumer electronics. He then worked at McKinsey in its Tokyo office to support corporate clients on a variety of corporate, business, and innovation projects. He joined NSV Wolf Capital in 2007 and co-founded their spin-out company, Venture Scanner.

Dan began his career as one of the first employees at TechCrunch overseeing the VC space. He co-founded Standard Treasury, a Y-Combinator backed startup, which was acquired by Silicon Valley Bank. He continued on at SVB leading efforts focused on innovation. He is now a partner at NSV Wolf Capital. He is also Co-Founder and General Partner at Deciens, a seed stage fintech VC firm.

Naoki started his career at Rakuten, working directly with the CEO on many new innovation and product launch projects. As a researcher at Stanford he launched AppGroves, a 500 Startups backed company. He also started a newsletter focused on financial statement analysis with thousands of paid subscribers that was eventually acquired. He is now a partner at NSV Wolf Capital.

Starting as an Aerospace Engineer, Nate worked at Northrop Grumman building satellites for civil, defense, and national customers. He then moved onto a boutique investment bank focused on technology. After moving to the bay area he co-founded a spin-out of NSV called Venture Scanner, which researched startup ecosystems. He is now a Partner at NSV Wolf Capital.

Midori originally worked with the PC operating system developer, Digital Research, Inc., serving as the liaison between the Tokyo office and California engineers. She went on to work product management and many companies including Palm, Adobe, and Visa. She is currently the Director of Operations at NSV Wolf Capital.
